For businesses that create, claim or have Sum maintain a website. They complement the general terms.

This is a translation. If it differs from the French version, the French version prevails.
These terms apply to businesses and organizations that create, claim or have Sum maintain a website. They complement the General terms, which form part of them. By ticking the “I accept” box or paying for a plan, the customer accepts both.
A site can be created without an account, with the customer's AI or the Sum agent, and published at a temporary address. To keep it, the customer claims it with their email. An unclaimed site may be deleted after 30 days.
The customer warrants that they have the right to act on behalf of the business for which they create a site.
The customer remains the owner of their content: text, photos, logos, contact details, prices. This includes content their AI or the Sum agent writes for them, to the extent the law recognizes rights in it.
The customer grants Sum a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt this content, solely to run their site and provide the service. This licence ends with the service, except for backup copies, which are erased according to the privacy policy.
The customer warrants that they have the right to use their content, including photos and logos. They review AI-generated content before publishing it; Sum does not guarantee its accuracy.
Blocks, kits, themes and the engine belong to Sum or to the kit's author. While their plan is active, the customer has a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for their own site.
The customer or their developer may read and edit their site's files. They may not copy the blocks or kits for other sites, resell them, or use them to build a competing service.
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Taxes are added once Sum is registered for GST and QST. Monthly fees are paid in advance and are not refunded for a month already started. The launch fee is earned once the site is published.
Unused monthly changes do not carry over. A “change” is a content or layout change of up to 30 minutes; beyond that, it is custom work. The Sum agent is included up to a reasonable usage limit, shown in the application.
Sum may change its prices with 30 days' notice. A launch price remains valid for 12 months for customers who obtained it.
The customer's domain name belongs to them and stays in their name. The customer configures their own DNS to point to Sum, using the instructions provided. With the maintained plan, Sum may help with this setup, but renewing the domain remains the customer's responsibility.
A block, integration or kit made to measure for the customer is billed at $85/hour or at a fixed price, based on a written quote accepted by email.
A site's forms (contact, appointments) collect information about the business's customers. For this data, the customer is responsible for complying with Law 25 towards their visitors; Sum acts as a provider that processes it on their behalf and only according to their instructions. The customer posts their own privacy policy on their site if they collect such information.
The customer may cancel at any time in the application; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. If a payment fails, Sum notifies the customer and may unpublish the site after 14 days.
At the end of the service, for 30 days, the customer may:
This static version may not be used to create other sites or be resold. After that period, Sum deletes the site and its content, except backup copies, which are erased according to the privacy policy.
If the site uses a kit from an author or partner who leaves Sum, the customer's site keeps working as is. Sum may stop offering new features for that kit.
The first three pilot businesses get their launch for free. In return, they agree that Sum may mention their name and show their site as an example, unless they object by email.
